Veterinarians
David L Hahn , DVM Dr. Hahn is co-owner of Spoon River Animal Clinic, P.C. He was born and raised in Sigourney, Iowa. He graduated in 1980 from Iowa State University. He has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in Canton since 1981. His interests are in small animal medicine and surgery, equine dentistry, and bovine production medicine and preventive programs. He lives in Canton with his wife Angie, and their extended family of 5 horses, 1 miniature horse, 1 donkey, 4 cats, and 5 dogs.
They have 1 son and 2 daughters. They also have 2 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and outdoor activities. He is also a big St. Louis Cardinal fan. |

Sarah C Karle , DVM | Dr. Karle was born and raised in the rural area around Hudson, IL. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with our clinic since graduating. She is experienced in both small and large animals. She lives in the Canton area with her 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dr. Karle enjoys horseback riding and hiking, and is always willing to try new things. |

Dr. Anthony Eaton , DVM | Dr. Eaton graduated from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine and has practiced for over twenty-five years at several clinics in the central Illinois area. He has treated small and large animals, zoo and emergency medicine. His special interest is in exotic animals. He lives with his wife Maureen and 2 dogs in Peoria, IL. |

Dr. Tom Antonini , DVM Dr. Tom Antonini joined our staff July 18, 2011. He is from Springfield, Illinois and graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. His interests include small and large animal internal medicine, surgery, and bovine production medicine. Dr. Antonini enjoys the outdoors, reading and attending baseball games. He lives in Canton with his dog Doo, and his cat Bart. Dr. Antonini is committed to providing quality veterinary care to Canton and the surrounding communities.

Laura Howarter | Laura has been with the clinic since October 1993. She lives in the Canton area with her fiance Randy Garren and dog Monkey. She has 1 son, Zack. |

Candi McLouth Candi started working at the clinic in April of 1998. She enjoys her job and the interesting cases she encounters. She lived in Canton with her husband Kenny and daughter Lauren until moving to Marietta, IL. 2 years ago. She also has 1 son, Justin.
She has a "Wild Kingdom" of 4 dogs, 8 cats, and 1 rabbit. She enjoys reading and working on crafts. She also enjoys watching the deer in the back yard. |

Cara McKim , CVT | Cara has worked at the clinic since May 2001. She graduated from Parkland College. She resides in Bushnell, IL. with her husband Shawn McKim, DVM, her son Ethan, daughter Reagan, and their 3 dogs. Cara is very active in her church and is involved with the church youth group. |

Annetta Trone | Annetta has been with us since November of 2007. She enjoys working with small, large, and exotic animals. Annetta lives in Norris, IL with her husband Scott and son Jacob. She also has 1 dog and 2 cats. |

Mary Coulter | Mary began working at our clinic in May 2002. She lives in Canton with her husband Mark, her son Beau, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. Mary has 2 sons, Brandon and Cory that also live in Canton. She is an avid crocheter and enjoys spending time with family and friends. |

Cindy Holmes | Cindy has been working at our clinic since September 2006. She lives with her husband Gary and 2 dogs in Hanna City, IL. She has 2 daughters, Rachel and Cara. She also has 4 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling with her husband on their Harley. Cindy also plays the Saxaphone. |

Janet Janet is kennel supervisor. She has worked at the clinic since March 2006.
Jacob Standard Jacob lives in Canton, Illinois with his mother, father, sister, and his dog. Jacob attends Canton High School and participates in cross country, track, and band. He is the student council vice president and the Class of 2012 vice president. He is also an Eagle Scout. His interests are running, fishing, playing in the band, and spending time with his Labradoodle, Nala.

Angie Hahn | Angie is co-owner of Spoon River Animal Clinic, P.C. along with her husband Dr. David L. Hahn. She lives in Canton with her husband and extended family of animals. They have 1 son Josh, 2 daughters Erin and Alisha, and 2 grandchildren Trevor and Carley. She loves to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys camping very much. Angie oversees all operations at the clinic. |
